Government Contracts
8(a) Business development Program
Today’s 8(a) Business development Program is strengthened and improved to be a truly effective business development vehicle. New regulations permit 8(a) companies, such as ProSync, to form beneficial teaming partnerships and allow Federal agencies to streamline the contracting process. In many cases, the 8(a) certification provides inherent advantages such as a sole-source program that does not require justification, CICA documentation or review is not required, BSM is not required by CICA, N1 or SBA, Market Survey is not required if one contractor is consulted, Timely Awards average 15 to 45 days from inception, Selection of a Contract team early in the acquisition process with no requirement to interview multiple firms, Teaming Arrangements are encouraged, and Bonding, Insurance and Other Legal requirements will be met.
Cut your concept-to-contract time to just 6 weeks by contracting with an 8(a) firm. ProSync would be happy to visit your office to explain the ease of using the 8(a) contracting vehicle and describe the other advantages. Please contact the government business representative at business@prosync.com.
Small Disadvantaged Business program
SBA has established the Small Disadvantaged Business program to help small businesses be successful for the future. Their goal is accomplished by building community-based small businesses which in turn revitalizes neighborhoods, creates jobs, and encourages economic growth. The SBA certifies SDBs to make them eligible for special bidding benefits. Evaluation credits available to prime contractors boost subcontracting opportunities for SDBs. This has, in effect, created the gateway to opportunity for ProSync and subcontractors.
Veteran Owned Small Business
The Department of Defense (DoD) has an outreach effort to identify small business concerns that are owned and controlled by veterans and service-disabled veterans. The purpose of the DoD outreach effort is to improve prime and subcontracting opportunities for veteran and service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns. The DoD understands that the sacrifices made by veterans in the service of our country need to be recognized at all levels of the government. The Defense Department supports prime and subcontracting opportunities for veteran small businesses.
